On Location: Rocinha in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Rocinha is the largest favela in Brazil located in Rio’s South Zone between the districts of São Conrado and Gávea. It has an estimated population of 60.000 to 150.000. It is built on a steep hillside overlooking the city of Rio de Janeiro, just one kilometer away from their famous beach.
